A project In Collaboration with HEMA. Together with Malou Weijs, Tessel Burger and Zouhair Benkabbou.

HEMA is a retail chain that sells products for the entire family. Their goal is to make people's lives more enjoyable and easier.

We did research about children and people with a disability who cannot cut fruit and vegetables independently.

By using 'attachments', a piece of fruit or vegetables will not slip and the fingers will be protected during cutting. In addition to making it easier and safer to work in the kitchen, the advantage is that children come into contact with healthy food at a younger age and learn to work more independently.

The 'Hulpsnijplank' has been specially designed for children and people who could use some help in the kitchen.
